I don't play often and promised I would play 2-5 dollars a week. I think I have a better chance at winning a Lottery than getting a promotion at my job at the rate I am going. I just wanted to know if anyone on this board has ever won ANYTHING? CA Super Lotto is 15Million tonight(Sat) so I got 4 quick pics and 1 personal pick. Been trying to find some ways to pick numbers other than my month/date birthday, age and how much I owe in credit cards. LOL

Oh trust me, I just looking at some number theories here so that I can pull of a big win! I knew a lottery winner who was a mess;she and her husband loved drugs(this was before the lottery) such as waste! I live in So Cal so I'm playing Super Lotto. Never was into scratch offs. I don't play often until now, so I may have questions for some of you forum members. Can ppl from CA play in other state lotteries or are you just allowed to play in the state you reside in?
The most I have won was $7.00 from having two whiteballs and the powerball.ironbelle said:

My basic strategy is just random picks from looking at the last twenty draws. If anyone were to pick all numbers right in any lotto it is just pure luck anyway. You can't predict what's gonna be drawn.
I know people that use the same numbers and they could come up. That's fine but I change my numbers constantly. Those numbers I change have never came up. They could but very doubtful. I've had more luck by altering the numbers on probabilities. Maybe someday it will work.
But for the most part I have fun playing and trying to beat the odds. I don't make a job out of it.
Thank you for the input! It's nothing to quit my day job over, but oh how I would love to hit it big and quit my day job. Who knew picking numbers was this intense. I spend about 6 hours on this site last night. I stumbled across it and just dove in. Very interesting theories here and I did like the string theorie which helps you narrow down your picks to choosing from 24-26 numbers instead of all 47 numbers here in Cali.

never won a big one, but had a few close calls, 5 numbers out 6 a few times, but here thats in the hundreds of $$ not thens of thou\sands
I got excited because I won 11.00 last night here in CA and I rarely play. I did a QP but now I want to start creating my own numbers. I'm excited to learn new ways to come up with my numbers. I started on the string theory and like that it eliminates alot of numbers out of a possible 47 #'s. When I looked back two draws for saturdays, did the string theory, the winning #'s did appear, the problem is just finding the winning combo out of 26 #'s. This site seems well informed and I like that.

I'm in southern California too, so far I've had much better luck at the indian casino instead of SuperLotto Plus! I typically gamble $5 on penny slots (if you ride the free casino bus, they give you $5 when you arrive, at Harrah's Rincon anyway.) I won $72 the last time I went, it is rare that I don't win, if I don't, at least I have fun, get free drinks the whole time and meet some cool people
For picking any California lottery numbers, one resource is the site that turned me on to this great Lotto649.ws forum - Crazynuts:

It has given me numerous 3 number matches in the SuperLotto Plus, and some very very close matches. One method I use is to check the last 10 draws or so, then generate multiple picks on the site's SLP page:

Then I choose a few picks that appear to me that they'll be the most likely to hit. For example, if the last draw was 02 08 09 11 32 02, then I'd avoid similar picks with so many low numbers. At those times I've often had luck using the page to generate picks consisting of numbers 10 through 47, or even 20 through 47.
I don't really know of any other sites dedicated to SuperLotto Plus...there are tons of Pick 3 sites. If anyone has more good SLP sites, please share! I'd like to find one that has integrated wheeling, and generating picks based upon trends, as I mentioned above, straight double digit picks have to occur sometime!
