This is the "anything goes" section, no improve winnings here... just curious if anyone has one big or knows anyone that has one big...

I think Trigger1 like me wants to be inspired. We can use all the support. So let's support one another. I haven't hit the Jackpot yet but I'm working on it. Don't stop believin'.

can't win if ya don't play.

I haven't won big, but I don't play on a regular basis.

I've known people who've known people who've won big though :)

Also, once I missed hitting the big jackpot due to 2 numbers that were offset only by 1! so I know winning is possible, just have to keep trying!

I've won a couple 4 out of 5 combos in Calif. Fantasy 5 in the past. I haven't hit recently other than a 3/5 now and then and I usually get replays on my most recent plays. I've backed way off as far as the amount of money I used to spend. I've found that I can wheel combos that can pay off, but I can't maintain that level of betting before my sets finally hit. I try to pick the best sets I can with a $5 dollar daily limit. That keeps me from getting into too much trouble.

I've been successful in weeding out the cold numbers on the Fantasy 5 game, but it still leaves me with 15 to 20 numbers to make combos of. That still leaves a pretty large spread to deal with. Out of the 15 to 20 numbers on my list I find that 4 or 5 out of that spread will hit. What often happens is that every number I choose in my sets will be one off each position and all I may wind up with is a replay here and there.

I was just wondering how much interest there is in the 5/39 game on this board...I see more discussions regarding the daily games than the games with higher odds...I don't play the Super Lotto because of the long odds. I used to enjoy the original 6/49 game with Bonus numbers, but that game is long gone.

hello Mr_Rich,

instead of playin $5 per day on Fantasy 5, why not wait and play 25 well crafted picks once a week whenya notice there is a large pot?

also, don't know ifya have seen my 5/39 page:
http://crazynuts.hollosite.com/california_fantasy5_lottery/

Full Spectrum Picks let ya play the entire number field in 8 picks.

Also ifya boildown your playfield there are some wheel options.

Anyway, matchin 3 doesn't pay jack on Fantasy5, that is why I play Daily3 more often, at least ya have a better chance of regularly keepin ahead of the game.

Your web page looks entertaining. I guess I would have to describe my methods as intuitive statistical analysis. I use a couple of programs to help my analysis, but none are absolute. Has anyone heard of Jerry Buley, PHD? He authored a program in the early 90's that I still use. Lottery Trend Analysis. It includes every wheel you can imagine; including key numbers or not. I like to use key numbers, but they have to be the strongest statistical choices to do you any good. I find it's safer to play on paper. I can make wheeling lists of 700 sets, but of course, who could afford that level of betting? I've had good luck about choosing specific sets out of the lists I've made that have the best statistical probability, such as in the upper part of the Bell curve.

I'm throwing this stuff out there for the sake of discussion. Like some people say, YMMV...your mileage may vary...

hiya Mr_Rich, sorry I don't know about any lottery programs or authors.

I just use spreadsheets for analysis, and script some crude commandline programs for generating picks, or use my web applications.

key numbers? ifya hunch is right thenya knock down the odds considerably.

do you only run analysis on sorted draws? or do ya preserve the ball slots for additional analysis for filtering picks?

seeya,
