Any Luck In VEGAS?

Hey Everyone.

I'll be in Vegas next week and Im wondering what table games have the reputation of paying out (or that people do well on). I know that statistically, roulette is the favored game but Im throwing this out to you all regardless.

What are some of your Vegas jackpot memories?

eons since I've been in Vegas...yup, ifya do not like card games such as poker or blackjack, roulette can be fun.

on roulette I try to focus on these type of bets most, best balance of coverage/payout I think:
six line, 2rows of 3numbers @5:1 payout
corner of 4numbers @8:1 payout
street, a row of 3 numbers @11:1 payout

then maybe these:
column or dozen field = 12numbers @2:1 payout
split = 2adjacent numbers @17:1 payout

outside bets with 1:1 payouts will not really get you anywhere unless you risk a buttload, sweat & manage to get lucky...I only chase a straight bet if I have a really good feeling, or it is my first bet walkin up to a wheel to break the ice. RED-FIVE STANDING BY!

Vegas was a blast! I ended up losing $300 playing corners in roulette and conservative strategy Blackjack. As dumb luck would have it though, I sat down at a slot machine to rest my feet on our last night walking around. I slipped $1 into the machine and hit max bet to grab $3 and then a jackpot of $626. Go figure...lol. 5 hours at the tables trying to beat the game with intuition got me -300 and 1 minute at a slot being mindless got me $600...lol

Even though you cant count on the casinos, the weather, food and atmosphere are three sure bets. Friends and I spent lazy days by the pool and in the sun. The evenings were a tour of what were billed to us as the best lounges and clubs for nightlife. We ended up spending the tail end to most nights at the Cosmopolitan @ City Center.

hiya gmac78, right goodtimes...the long hours of fun in Vegas can actually work out to be a good deal whenya really think about it...well, as long as you pace yourself heh!

did you manage to stretch your money further on roulette since you were betting corners? I've seen people blow through straight numbers in no time, but the more reasonable bets can extend playtime at least.
