Though you and your family are a bit of distance from me and mine, I feel that the custom that we here share has nothing to do with continent, custom, speech, haves and wants. What you have shared says a lot about our human community. A birthday is just as good a Thanksgiving as any feast---you may or may not be physically with that Birthday Girl but isn't it the thought that counts???

Fire ants were probably all drowned in about 10 inches of rain over the weekend. But the wedding went off well in spite of it all and a good time was had by all!
