I saw this posted on usenet, they pointed out that filters are pretty much useless when a draw like this comes.

Pretty much YES!
In a 649 Lotto there are...
6 Odd + 0 Even = 177,100 Combinations = 1.27%
0 Odd +
6 Even = 134,596 Combinations = 0.96%
...so pretty nominal in the overall scheme of things.
As an example, taking the UK Main 649 Lotto to date the statistics are as follows...
Total for ALL 13,983,816 Combinations
0 Odd + 6 Even = 134,596 = 0.96%
1 Odd + 5 Even = 1,062,600 = 7.60%
2 Odd + 4 Even = 3,187,800 = 22.80%
3 Odd + 3 Even = 4,655,200 = 33.29%
4 Odd + 2 Even = 3,491,400 = 24.97%
5 Odd + 1 Even = 1,275,120 = 9.12%
6 Odd + 0 Even = 177,100 = 1.27%
Total = 13,983,816
Total To Date For UK Main 649 Lotto Of 1,835 Draws
0 Odd + 6 Even = 17 = 0.93%
1 Odd + 5 Even = 137 = 7.47%
2 Odd + 4 Even = 451 = 24.58%
3 Odd + 3 Even = 569 = 31.01%
4 Odd + 2 Even = 443 = 24.14%
5 Odd + 1 Even = 197 = 10.74%
6 Odd + 0 Even = 21 = 1.14%
Total = 1,835
...and as you can see, the percentages of the C(49,6) compared to the percentages of the total draws to date, is pretty much according to the expected.
Just thought I would share this!
Regards,
PAB
