Abbreviated wheels question

Hello All,

For sure, you can help me regarding the following question.
I'm talking about a 5/50 balls lottery (European Euro Millions, for example).

I know how to make/develop abbreviated wheels with guarranties like 4in5, 3in5, 2in5. For example, the (8,5,4,5)=5 tickets. I know how to make them by hand, in this case, choosing one of the 56 total combinations [C(8,5)=56] and after that testing what other combinations are eliminated by this one, because they differs in one of the numbers. And so on, and so on.

But for smaller guarrantees like 4/4, 3/4, 2/4 and 3/3? Can someone please tell me how to make/develop them? What is the logic/way to do them?

Hi PSAZF,
I developed such an algorithm, which on the one hand works much much slower than the CoverMaster, on the other hand it produces wheels of the the same size or better, never worse.
I can send you the source code in VB, however if you want to be able to get results on the fly as fast as the superb CoverMaster does, you definitely have to change the algotrithm.

Hi SSS

Would you please consider to do a similar algorithm (that you have send PSAZF) but for 40 lines but with an open choice of number of numbers please.
