A question for PAB

Hey PAB,

I was just browsing some bookies' web pages and must say I'm quite excited by the variety of games they offer. Every sports and lottery game a player can imagine is covered and the odds are quite fair. For 6/49 some of them offer 8:1 for one correct number :eek2: and more than 2000:1 for 4 numbers. Just interested if you have played any of those games online?

Hi tomtom,

I Only Play the UK and Irish Lotto's ( Occasionally I will have a Bet on a Big Horse Race ) But Never Online.
I did Consider Playing the Irish Lotto Online Last Year, But Decided Against it Because the Bookies ( I Use Ladbrokes & William Hills in the UK ) do give Reasonable Odds.
I know that some Online Bookies take their Cut of your Winnings for so called Administration Costs, But as Long as you know that up Front it is Not a Problem.
I Personally like Handing Over Hard Cash and Physically getting the Tickets.
I know there are some Members here that Bet Online who Might be Able to give you Some Pointers if you have something Specific in Mind.
I think you can Probably Bet on Almost Anything these Days.
If you are Interested in the Bookies Irish Lotto Odds I can Post them Here for you.

Good Luck in your Pursuits.
All the Best.

Thanx Pab. I was quite excited seeing both variety of games they offer and the min and max bet amounts rationality.
It must be a nice feeling walk down the street and place a bet you wish. :agree:
However, it seems the Internet really starts to show some of it's advanced possibilities, too....

Your Welcome tomtom,

With the Internet, the Skies the Limit.
Are you Thinking about Betting on Anything in Particular.
Am I Right in Saying that Canada Does NOT have High Street Bookies.
If that is the Case you Don't know what your Missing. It is a Good Way to get away from the Other Half for an Hour or so ( it gives your Ears a Rest ). You can Pop in the Bookies and Place your Bet, then come Straight out and Pop in the Pub for a Nice Cold Pint ( Or Two ).

All the Best.

Well, we have really good beer here, too. Hope some bookies covering that big database of sports and lottery games with that min and max bet levels-ticket prices and odds will also appear soon...

Hi tomtom,

Slightly Off Topic But, how Much do you Pay for a Pint in Canada. Here in the UK Pubs it can Range from about £1.95 :D to about £2.85 :bawl: UK Pounds Sterling. As for Clubs, they make it up as they go Along :agree: .

All the Best.

Well, I'm not sure about how big is UK pint, but 6 355mil cans in the nearest beer and vine store are about $10 Can, which is something like 4.5 £. So start from doubling or most likely tripling it and up at the other places...
