Does anyone out there know the longest a number has gone before being drawn either within the 6 or as the bonus. Just curious.

Longest span without coming out
In Canadian Lotto 6/49, number 7 came out in draws # 1491 and 1492 in May 1998 but then did not come out again in the regular 6 winning numbers until draw #1572 in February 1999, altogether missing 79 draws.

thanks for the info! If you look at the number 38 it has only been in the 6 once in the last 87 draws! Conversely do you know the record for a number repeating its self? Thanks

First for your question. No number has appeared in 6 consecutive draws, whether you consider the bonus number or not. But 3 numbers have appeared in 5 consecutive draws, always in the regular winning numbers.
- #57: from draw #667 to #671
- #31: from draw #1083 to #1087
- #03: from draw #1817 to 1821
And about your number 38, I do not understand your point in the last 87 draws. It has come out 7 times altogether. It came out once in 6th position, this is basically what you would expect as it has only 19% of the chances of appearing there compared to nearly 70% in the 4th or 5th position.
