Following the May 29, 2004 draw, LOTTO 6/49 will be changing all across Canada offering consumers BIGGER jackpots more often and MORE chances to win. And all it takes is a toonie!
LOTTO 6/49 jackpots are expected to grow to $10 million or more on approximately half the draws annually and to reach $25 million several times during year. There will also be a new prize category – win $5 for matching two of the six numbers plus the Bonus number.
Advance Play To Be Affected
Once we get closer to launching our Bigger and Better LOTTO 6/49, the option of playing up to 10 draws in advance with Advance Play will gradually decrease to support the launch on May 30, 2004.
From April 28 to May 29, the Advance Play option will decrease by one draw after each draw date as outlined below:
