649 jackpot below 4 mil - why

I thougth that when they put up the price to 2 bucks that the jackpots were going to start at a minuim of 4 million.
they have been below quite a few times lately ,
Am I wrong on this

Not wrong, but 4 million is just an estimate. Sometime, the jackpot cannot reach 4 million due to weak ticket sales. But the prize should be every close to 4 million nevertheless.

aparently, they do say estimated based on ticket sales....when the JP Is higher sometimes the actual prize goes well over the estimate, unlike super7 where the jp is gaurenteed - 649 sucks lol

I can only add that it sucks since the ticket is $2. I do not play as many combinations
