(the bonus number could show up anywhere)

(either four, three, or five hits most of the time from here)

I didn't want to say it but, I sure did think it.

I see your limts per row got you a 3 hitter. To hit big, something like you are doing when the time comes would pay off. You are only testing so a big winner would be sweet and a shame at the same time.

Dennis is getting data from his source in Québec which will be interesting to see how that compares.

Out of curiosity, why do people reveal their picks? For parimutuel lotteries like Lotto 6/49, you are basically betting against each other. The numbers chosen by other players determine the return because prizes are shared among all winners for the top four prizes.

Looking at this week's 6/49 draws as a numerical example, if your posted favourite picks matched 5 + the bonus numbers, but four other members copied the same picks, you would have won only $90,438.50 each. For the previous draw, had you kept your winning 5+B picks to yourself, you would have won more than three times as much at $305,281.20.

One of the best lottery strategies is to avoid commonly selected numbers such as those in forums, software and birthdays.

Just reposting that post here where it should have been posted in the first place...
I think that we would all appreciate if you could avoid posting only comments in the picks thread before draw time...

Let me clarify.

That thread was started by me in response to a member, doc , who asked the same question as powerball in the 'Picks' thread.

Reading all responses by members in that thread, especially the second one by me, should answer the question powerball asked.
