Here is what my program reports for the next draw along with a colour
code of hits/bonus number we had...
(the bonus number could show up anywhere)

$28 Million Lotto 6/49

The $23,472,754 jackpot was not won and grows to an estimated $29 million for the next draw on Saturday, August 7. Prizes paid out were $6,204,129.30 while sales were $29,869,602 for a prize payout of 21%. As you can see at
http://www.lotterybuddy.com/frequenc.htm, the number 31 has been the most frequently drawn ball.

For the first time in years, the jackpot amount is more than the odds of winning the jackpot (1 in 27,967,632 per $1 spent). The approximate odds of the number of jackpot winners for Saturday are:
0 - 30% (i.e., another jackpot roll-over)
1 - 36%
2 - 22%
3 - 9%
4 or more - 3%.

Lottery Tip: Organize or join a lottery pool before Saturday, putting in no more than $2 for each member.

Aug 4 sales = $29,869,602

Aug 4 winners paid = $6,204,121

= Aug 4 Gross profit = $23,665,481
- $5,000,000 going into next weeks jackpot to make it $28,000,000

= Aug 4 NET profit = $18,665,481 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! = 62 % profit = worse then a monopoly, worse than organised crime .

Couldn't they have taken say $10,000,000 from this $18,665,481 profit and make the new jackpot $28,000,000 + $10,000,000 = $38,000,000 ????????????????

A RIPOFF to the poor customers but a HUGE windfall to the 649 lotto corp. :dang:

You must be thinking of Super 7. If it did go 30M+ in 649, I would like to know when it was that high.

The largest Lotto 6/49 Jackpot was $26,410,706 offered in September 1995. I believe there were a lot of jackpot winners so if a syndicate had
tried to buy all possible combinations, they would have lost a lot of money.

Has anybody in this forum been smart enough to organize a lottery pool? Joining a no-fee lottery pool is the best way to inrease your odds while limiting your loss. For example, one person buying a $100 6/49 wheel for Saturday's draw would be a waste of money, while 50 members spending only $2 each will have the same odds of sharing in the $29 million jackpot.

I had a lottery pool once between five people at work with Super 7, but I had all the master tickets. Three of the five were stupid ****ers who only thought winning was done through instapik. Well, one day we won $150 + two free tickets from numbers me and my buddy picked. We cashed it in, took $75 each, and kept our mouths shut :devil:

. The "Superpik" loser tickets were left to show the other three the loss they had.
