Happy Day for Corner Brook Couple

It's a happy day for Dean and Judy Park of Corner Brook. The couple won Saturday's Lotto 6-49 draw worth a whopping 17.7 million dollars. Dean travelled more than 12 hours by car and boat to collect their prize today in Moncton, New Brunswick. Dean and Judy have 4 children ranging from age 8 to 17, who have already put in requests for computers, video game systems, and TVs. The couple plans to buy a new home, a new car, and provide for their children's educations.

It is nice to know that the ones who did win really needed it!
Those $17.7M winners "look" like the type who will spend it all in two months and end up more broke than what they were before they won. In other words, they have no common sense. I know its true because I've heard enough horror stories of jackpot winners in Atlantic Canada who end up taking the wrong road, and in some cases, suicide resulted.

You pick your numbers, and if you win the jackpot, you take pride in what you've won. You take creative control from the time you pick your numbers right up to the last cent of your jackpot win.

You can't say that a person will do a certain thing just because they have a "look" about them. That makes no sense. The very fact that they have decided to put money away specifically for their childrens education tells me they do have some smarts and they are thinking of their childrens futures.
If I won that kind of money, I'd probably buy myself a new computer, and new car too, as I'm sure you would and maybe even a few other toys.
But, you are right, there are many people who have won large amounts of money and squandered it, but is it because they had that "look" I don't think so. They failed to seek sound financial guidance and threw their money around thinking it would last forever. You do have to have some common sense in these matters and if you don't, then yes, eventually the well will run dry.
