Some Ontario Keno Repeat Numbers MAth

Ontario Keno draws 20 numbers from a pool of 70 numbers. I've taken the results from 6000 Ontario Keno draws and checked how many of the 20 drawn numbers from 1 draw will repeat themselves in the next draw. Here are the results:

0 - 2

The true odds of hitting 10 out of 70 numbers in the Ontario Keno: 396,704,524,216


The odds of hitting 10 out of 20 numbers is: 184,756

9/20 = 167,960
8/20 = 125,970
7/20 = 77,520
6/20 = 38,760
5/20 = 15,504
4/20 = 4,845
3/20 = 1,140
2/20 = 190

So, realistically, one can expect 5, 6 or 7 repeats.

If you are waiting to hit 10/10 using only repeaters you will wait awhile, but with twice daily draws it will happen about 8 times a year. 'Course the problem is always choosing which 10 of the 20 you think will repeat!

which is exactly why Banco Special don't pay for 4-7 hits
what one could do though is the day after only, say 1 or 2 repeats, you know you can expect close to 10 repeats (I've seen 9 and 8) so with a right wheel you can have a pretty good payout

I use repeating keno numbers to play Keno, and most of the time it's only 5-6 repeating numbers from the past few draws.

As Hobo says, the best time to play repeats is when there haven't been too many in the last few games.

Once can also do the same with Even/Odd, Hi/Lo and any other divisions of numbers you can think of.

I didn't play the May 17 Midday Keno, but I picked my numbers to see what would have happened.
The winning numbers for May 17 are:
01 03 11 13 14 29 30 31 33 35
39 44 45 54 56 59 61 63 69 70

My numbers that I had selected for 7pick and used blitzed KENO lotto wheel to generate several quick picks for the draw were:
7, 11, 17, 20, 22, 30, 31, 32, 37, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 47, 51, 61, 66, 68

In this case there were 7 repeating numbers from the last few games. So the most I could have won was 7/7 at $5000.
Note that the wheel I used was the one with Ball-Slots:
Ball-Slot #1: 7, 11, 17
Ball-Slot#2: 20, 22, 30
Ball-Slot#3: 31, 32, 37
Ball-Slot#4: 39, 40, 41
Ball-Slot#5: 42, 43, 44
Ball-Slot#6: 45, 47, 51
Ball-Slot#7: 61, 66, 68

For a grand total of 2187 combinations, though I only selected 25 Quick picks from these combinations and got a quick-pick that matched 6/7. Note: This was my first time using Blitzed KENO wheel and it appears that it may actually win me something.

Does anyone have any tips on how to organize the numbers in each slot to ensure the best results?
I was lucky to have at least 1 matching number in each slot to the winning numbers for the pseudo Midday May 17 draw.

Suggestion A: (method that I used for the Midday May 17 pseudo game
Slot#1: 2 numbers that you think are definitely going to come (repeating numbers from previous draws) and 1 number that you think is not going to come but there is a chance it could come
Slot#2: 2 numbers that you think are definitely going to come (repeating numbers from previous draws) and 1 number that you think is not going to come but there is a chance it could come
Slot#3: 2 numbers that you think are definitely going to come (repeating numbers from previous draws) and 1 number that you think is not going to come but there is a chance it could come
Slot#4: 2 numbers that you think are definitely going to come (repeating numbers from previous draws) and 1 number that you think is not going to come but there is a chance it could come
Slot#5: 2 numbers that you think are definitely going to come (repeating numbers from previous draws) and 1 number that you think is not going to come but there is a chance it could come

Suggestion B:
Slot#1: 3 numbers that you think are definitely going to come (all repeating numbers from previous draws)
Slot#2: 3 numbers that you think are not going to come but could come (such as cold numbers)
Slot#3: 3 numbers that you think are definitely going to come (all repeating numbers from previous draws)
Slot#4: 3 numbers that you think are not going to come but could come (such as cold numbers)
Slot#5: 3 numbers that you think are definitely going to come (all repeating numbers from previous draws)
Slot#6: 3 numbers that you think are not going to come but could come (such as cold numbers)
Slot#7: 3 numbers that you think are definitely going to come (all repeating numbers from previous draws)

That's good pickin'! I think my problem is that I try to narrow my picks down to 10 or so and dump all the winners in the process.

I feel that the repeating numbers may actually end this evening since we already had the previous 4 draws having 6+ repeating numbers, so this evening might be only 2-4 repeating numbers.

I was right, the repeating numbers has seized. May 17 Evening KENO Results were:
01 09 14 18 19 23 24 26 33 36
41 42 47 49 50 54 55 61 63 68

However, I played $20 worth of 7pick Keno just in case 6+ numbers repeated. Unfortunately, I did not win anything since the most I matched was 4/7, but I had nothing to lose from that $20. Remember: Only spend what you can afford to lose.

Taking the advice from icewynd, perhaps I will play again on May 19 Midday so that I identify the new repeating numbers from May 18 Midday and May 18 Evening numbers.
